LEARN TO LET GO
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: MONDAY, 27 SEPTEMBER 2021
Every now and then we go through life looking behind, we focus on what didn’t work out, on what hurt us, we live with regrets on the mistakes we made. But the truth of the matter is as long as we’re living in regrets, focus on the negative things of the past, it’s going to keep us from the great and wonderful future God has in store for us. We must learn to let go.
SCRIPTURE: Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. (Proverbs 4:25) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, you don’t have to let the bad of yester years to poison the good of the future. You may have had an unfair past, I’m not debating that, what I’m saying is you don’t have to have unfair future. You may have gotten off to a bumpy start in life, but it’s not how you start that matters, it’s how you finish. Don’t let what somebody did or didn’t do for you, be an excuse to live bitter. Don’t let those pains, disappointments, betrayals, cause you to give up in life. Learn to let go, trust in God and He will see through. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: You can’t do anything about the past, but you can do something about your future.
RESPONSIBILITY: No matter how bad or hurtful your past might be, learn to let go, trust in God and He will pay you back.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to let go of every unfair past, and launch me into a fair future, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you learn to let go, may God heal you of every negative past and thrust you into a great future, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
