Another secret to experiencing God’s amazing life is waiting on God’s perfect time. Beloved the best plan we have for ourselves cannot compare to the least plan God has for us. What God has in store for us no eyes have seen it, no ears have heard it, neither has it entered into the heart of any man (1 Corinthians 2:9). This is why Scripture says that,
SCRIPTURE: …they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.(Isaiah 40:31 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Patience is a key to unlocking the amazing life found in God. Without patience, we will continuously live a trial and error lifestyle. Every time we decide to go ahead of God, mistakes and heartaches are inevitable. We miss out on the glory that awaits us. Each time we refuse to wait on God’s time, an Ishmael is birthed in our lives just like Abraham birthed Ishmael when his wife Sarah could no longer wait for the fulfilment of God’s promise to them. Beloved, God knows the end of a matter before it has even begun. He knows the plans He has for us and they are plans of good and not of evil, to bring us to an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11). Beloved, my counsel to you today is to patiently wait on God’s timing for your life, allow Him write the script and steer the wheel of your life. Stay Refreshed.
NOTE THIS: Remember, your best plan for your life cannot be compared to the least of God’s plan for you.
RESPONSIBILITY: Wait patiently on the Lord and your strength will be renewed.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, please help me to wait patiently for the manifestation of your perfect will for my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: May your waiting never be in vain, and may the Lord fill you with peace and joy as you wait patiently on His perfect timing for your life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
