We all have dreams, goals and things we’re trusting God for the year. Yes, we started off excitedly and we keep sailing, but in what look like a flash of light, the year has come to an end. When we look back through the corridors of time, we found we have been working, doing something; but seeing the immediate and what we have achieved thus far, the upshot may suggest we’re lagging behind. But the truth of the matter is, the outcome may submit otherwise, but again, you’re never a failure. It’s never too late, you’re still going to make it.
SCRIPTURE: For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. (Habakuk 2:3) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, don’t get so wrapped in the pressure of the people. Don’t let it distract you. Keep your dreams alive, the end of the year is not the end of your dream. It’s just the end of a phase of your dream. When one phase ends, another glorious one begins. So, don’t beat yourself too hard, and don’t compare yourself to others. Don’t let what they have achieved or not put you in a tight corner. Beware that you’re not running the same race with them. Even in your own race, there’s no time bomb attached to it. So, be patient and keep going. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: The end of the year is not the end of your dream. So, keep your dreams alive.
RESPONSIBILITY: Don’t give up, keep going, doing the right thing.
PRAYER: O LORD, I present my plans and dreams to You, manifest them to Your glory, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
