So, beloved, to find rest in Jesus, we must come to Him with open hearts, ready to release the heavy burdens we carry. It requires humility to acknowledge that we cannot shoulder the weight of life’s challenges alone. As we approach Jesus, we find a compassionate Savior who understands our struggles and sympathizes with our pain. He invites us to pour out our hearts before Him, sharing our deepest concerns and fears.
SCRIPTURE: “Cast your cares on the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.” – Psalm 55:22 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Resting in Jesus does not mean that our problems will magically disappear or that life’s challenges will cease to exist. It means that we no longer bear the weight alone. When we surrender our burdens to Jesus, He carries them for us, lightening our load and providing the strength we need to face each day. He gives us the wisdom to navigate difficult situations and the comfort to soothe our troubled hearts. Stay Refreshed!

PRAYER: Dear Lord, I come before You with a weary heart and burdened soul. I lay down all my cares, worries, and anxieties at Your feet. Help me to release control and trust in Your loving care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
