Beloved, I want to share with you today about “Finding rest in the arms of Christ.” In the midst of life’s trials and challenges, we often find ourselves carrying heavy burdens. The weight of responsibilities, worries, and expectations can leave us feeling weary, drained, and in desperate need of rest. It is during these times that Jesus in Matthew 11:28 extends a heartfelt invitation to us, saying,

SCRIPTURE: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Imagine the tenderness in Jesus’ voice as He calls out to us, beckoning us to come into His presence. His invitation is not limited to a select few; it is extended to all who are burdened, exhausted, and in need of renewal. Jesus knows that life can be overwhelming and that we can easily become weighed down by its demands. But He wants us to know that there is a place of solace and rest in Him. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: To find rest in Jesus, we must come to Him with open hearts, ready to release the heavy burdens we carry.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, open your heart and seek the Lord and Master today.

PRAYER: Loving Father, thank You for the invitation to come to You and find rest for my weary soul. I surrender my burdens and worries into Your care. Help me to trust You fully and to lean on Your strength. Fill me with Your peace and grant me the rest I so desperately need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

PROPHETIC WORD: As you come to Jesus today, may you find rest for your troubled soul, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
