So, beloved, another sure attitude we must grow so we don’t get tired of life is to cultivate gratitude. You see, amidst the hardships, it’s easy to focus on what we lack or what has gone wrong. However, gratitude shifts our perspective and allows us to recognize the blessings surrounding us. The apostle Paul in his epistle to the Thessalonians, he encouraged thus,
Bottom of FormSCRIPTURE: “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, dearly beloved, each day, take time to thank the Lord for the gift of life, the love of family and friends, and the lessons learned through trials. Count your blessings one by one and you will see great and many things God has done for you (Psalm 103:2-5). And you will find the reasons to be more grateful. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Gratitude replenishes our spirit and invigorates us with the strength to keep pressing forward.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, don’t let life troubles and challenges becloud your sense of gratitude. Know that gratitude shapes our attitude.
PRAYER: O God, give me the courage to cultivate the attitude of thanksgiving, even in the most difficult season of my life. And cause me to overcome them all, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you grow the attitude of gratefulness, may the Lord help you and take away every difficulty in your life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
