So, the other essential area of life that we must have peace if we want to live fulfilled, content, and joyful in life is having peace with others. This is the real thing. You see, all the aforesaid essential and fundamental areas of life that we must have peace to make life worth living are so great, but this one key area, checks and regulates the interests of the other key areas. And this is also to say that these three areas are gainfully interrelated. See what Jesus said in John 13:34,
SCRIPTURE: I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too are to love one another. (John 13:34 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: But then, it’s the peace and the love we received from Christ that flow through us to others. When we give our hearts to Christ and He becomes our Lord and Savior, we can then receive God’s love and let it flow through us to others. The closer we get to Him—putting our trust, hope, and expectation in Him—the more we will show God’s unconditional love without selfish motives or expectations. And that more we live in peace and that’s what makes life worth living. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Jesus is our source of peace, and the only way we can have peace in our relationships is if we are willing to humble ourselves and treat others the way Jesus would treat them.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, be mindful of this fact. Learn to love and treat others the way Jesus would treat them.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to love others, and cause me to live in peace with them, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: So, as you seek to have peace with God, yourself and others, may the Lord cause you to live fulfilled, content and joyful in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
