BECOME A BETTER YOU (2)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: WEDNESDAY, 2 MARCH 2022
Becoming a better you is a choice you must make to grow into who God wants you to be (Deut. 30:19). You can become all things to men, but until you become the real and better you, you may never make a substantial impact in their lives. So, taking out time to really get yourself together, doing everything you can to becoming a better you would be one of the best things that would ever happen to you.
SCRIPTURE: Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. (Psalm 34:14) BSB
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, in order to become a better person, you have to be willing to change (Isaiah 43:18-19). Change is the only way to grow and progress into the person you want to become. Therefore, having said that, let us look at few things to note about becoming a better you.
- Becoming a better you is transmissible, yet trans-communicable. It makes everything you do and around you better. Else you can say, the better you become, the better everything around you becomes (Proverbs 11:27).
- Great and better things of life attract same and value to itself. So, if you want to be great in life, tune up your game, deliberately make efforts to becoming a better person.
- Becoming a better you is not magic nor some logical trick. It is consciously avoiding what you don’t need to become, and purposely getting more involved in better things (Prov. 16:17). For the better you become, the more successful you are. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Change is the only way to grow and progress into the person you want to become. And in order to become a better person, you have to be willing to change.
RESPONSIBILITY: Deliberately determine to become a better you.
PRAYER: O LORD, help me to become a better me. Develop me into the person you want me to be, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God bless you and make you a better person, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Psalm 34:14
