YOU DON’T HAVE TO FIGHT EVERYTHING

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: SUNDAY, 12 SEPTEMBER 2021

No one is ever comfortable being in trouble or difficulty. We see every trouble, difficulty as epidemic; we don’t like it, we don’t even wish it for anyone, but sometimes we don’t have to fight it or pray it away. God works in the trouble; He works in the uncomfortable situations. When we find ourselves in trouble, we aggressively pray it away. But here is the key: there’s nothing wrong in praying away every trouble or difficulty, but everything is wrong when we fail to understand what God is saying while we’re in it.

SCRIPTURE: When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. (Isaiah 43:2) NLT

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, if God delivered us out of every difficulty instantly, we would never reach our highest potential. So, when you pray and it seems God is not answering your prayers, and is not bringing you out yet. Two things; first of all, it could be that God is saying something to you, and you will have to learn from it.  And secondly, God wants the odds to be against you in a bigger way, so when He brings you out it will be a greater miracle. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS: There’s nothing wrong in praying away every trouble or difficulty, but everything is wrong when we fail to understand what God is saying while we’re in it.

RESPONSIBILITY: In every difficulty you find yourself, invite God into it, and He will come and help you through it.

PRAYER: O LORD, come to me in my times of trouble, and see me through, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD: As you call on God, may He answer you and deliver you, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

BIBLE TEXTS: Isaiah 43:2
