WHAT YOU LET IN

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: MONDAY 8 MARCH 2021

SERIES: YOU ARE NOT YOUR PROBLEM

By the mercies of God, we shall be embarking on a series titled “You are not your problem”, and as God is helping us, today we shall be looking at “What you let in”. The reason some people live worried, troubled and offended in life is because they let everything in. They drench their thoughts, emotions and feelings with negative things. They listen to the gossips and bad news all day, they allow people’s negative talk influence and get into them.

You are created in the image and likeness of God (Gen 1:26), you are God’s masterpiece (Eph. 2:10), you are not your problem. The problem is: you’re careless and irresponsible for what goes into your thought and mind. You don’t have control over what people do, but you do have control over your thoughts, your attitude, and how you respond.

SCRIPTURE: Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, (Philippians 2:5) KJV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: You have to be careful what you let in. You can’t stop everything from coming, but you can stop it from getting down in your spirit.

Beloved, you need to keep your thought full of faith, full of hope, full of victory. Anything that tries to poison your thought it’s up to you to say “No, thanks you’re not welcome here”. You have to be proactive: what are you watching? What are you listening to? Is it building you up, making you more positive, more useful, more hopeful? Or is it tearing you down, stressing you out, or making you angry? You don’t need that in your life.

Life is hard enough without adding all these negative things that make it more difficult. Learn to filter what goes into you and be positive. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS: You have to be careful what you let in. You can’t stop everything from coming, but you can stop it from getting down in your spirit.

RESPONSIBILITY: Learn to filter what goes into you and be positive.

PRAYER:  O LORD, give me the grace to filter what goes inside my thought, and cause me to be proactive, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD: Receive the grace to be proactive in life, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

BIBLE TEXTS: Phil 2:5, Gen 1:26, Eph. 2:10
