TRUST YOUR LIFE TO GOD’S CARE
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: MONDAY, 5 SEPTEMBER 2022
Most of us have spent our lives trying to take care of ourselves, we want to understand everything. When life happens to us, when we’re in the middle of a situation, we can quickly find ourselves trying to reason our way through it. We would want to know how everything is going to work out. But the truth of the matter is, if we try to figure everything out on our own, we will experience struggle and confusion. But when we learn to trust our lives to God’s care, He would come in, and take the wrong things that have happened and work them out for our own good (Rom 8:28).
SCRIPTURE: Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, I want to encourage you to trust God completely in every area of your life. Remember that He is always on your side, and He is fighting for you as you go through the challenges in your life. He loves you and always has your best interest at heart, and He is close to you when you’re hurting most (Psalm 34:18). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: When we try to do things in our own strength and leave God out, we just get worn-out and frustrated. But when we fully lean on God, trust our lives to His care, it brings us His peace.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, you must learn to always trust your life to God’s care.
PRAYER: O LORD, I trust my life to Your care, please do not abandon me, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you continue to trust your life to God’s care, may He never let you fall, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Proverbs 3:5-6, Psalm 34:18, Rom 8:28
