THIS DAY IS A GIFT
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL
DATE: THURSDAY 25 FEBRUARY 2021
One of the greatest things that would happen to us is the privilege to see a new day. Each day is a gift of God for us. Every day we have a new gift to open, a new day that God has wrapped in His favor, blessings, love and care. And now, God has given us a new present; it’s called today. To see today is a great honor. What are you going to do with it? This is a call to action. God could have chosen anyone to be here, but he chose you.
Are you living it to the full with purpose and passion, pursuing your dreams? Or are you distracted, just doing whatever comes along, or wasting your day hanging out with people that are pulling you down?
SCRIPTURE:
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom, (Psalms 90:12) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
The gift of the day is so valuable, it’s even more valuable than money. You can make money, but you can’t make a day.
Sometimes, our days can be so full and busy that we forget how fragile life really is. It can be easy to allow little things to creep in and steal our peace and joy. We have to remember that each day is a gift from God. We must choose to focus on great things. If we choose to focus on what’s wrong, we’ll miss the beauty that day has to offer.
So Beloved, while life may not always be fair, you must never allow the pains, hurdles, and challenges of the moment to poison your attitude and plans for yourself and your future. Choose to live each day wisely. Get focused, set your goals, and make plans to fulfil them. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS:
The gift of the day is so valuable, it’s even more valuable than money. You can make money, but you can’t make a day.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Go ahead and begin to thank God for the gift of the day. And make efforts to redeem your day.
PRAYER:
O LORD, I thank you for the gift of this day. Help me to treasure it and value every moment of it, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
I speak into your life, may your days never be wasted, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
