THE SECRETS TO NAVIGATING HARD TIMES (4)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SUNDAY, 24 APRIL 2022
It is said that tough times don’t last always, but tough people do. No matter how we see it, difficult times are part of life—it is inevitable. So, the question is not if it will come, but rather how do we navigate it when it comes. And this brings us to yet another reality on how to navigate hard times successfully without losing our peace and joy, it is “recognizing that difficult moments don’t last forever”. So, the bible says,
SCRIPTURE: … Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5 NKJV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Though it is more difficult to stay focused and keep our sanity during the “winters and rains” of our life, but it is helpful to remember that spring always follows winter, and after rain comes shinning (Ps 30:5). So, beloved, hear this, no matter how bad the situation might seem right now, keep your head up, always stay brave, recognize that difficult times don’t last forever, and this too shall pass. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Tough times don’t last, but tough people do. And you’re tougher than you think.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, in your difficulties, keep your sanity and always know that it won’t last forever.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to stay tough, even in the difficult situations, and help me to overcome them all, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God help you and give you the grace to to overcome every trouble and difficulty in your life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Psalm 30:5
