Sometimes what we see as problems are not necessarily problems, but a confronted pattern to challenge our readiness for progression to the next level in life. But, however the problem of life may present its ugly face, ours is to be readily prepared to face it off. So, the next strategic principle for engaging the right keys to get things done and achieve our purpose in life is by focusing on the solution, and not the problem. How does the principle work? It demonstrates to us the necessity for proper response in the midst of challenges, in absolute resistance and defiance to distractions.

SCRIPTURE:  No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Cor 10:13) NIV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The enemy knows that if he could distract you, it would impede your progress in your surge of getting things done. So, he could device means to distract you from the solution and get you focused on the problem. But we can learn from the account of Nehemiah in Nehemiah 6:1-4.

Nehemiah had the vision to rebuild the fallen walls of Jerusalem, so he prayed to God and embarked on the project. When the walls began to take shape, his enemies tried to sidetrack him from the project with a number of different strategies. But in all the strategies, Nehemiah understood this principle, and he replied to them in strong and plain terms, “I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and go down to you?” The Scripture reported that four times they sent for him the same message, and each time he gave them the same answer.

So beloved, know it that the existence of problems is non-negotiable in life, and the only controllable factor in the face of problems is your response. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: Do not be tempted to focus on the severity of your problem, nor be distracted from it, but be determined to proffer sustainable solution to curb the problem.  

RESPONSIBILITY: So, we must make conscious efforts to be focused on solving problems than focusing on the problem itself.

PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to remain ever focused to find solutions to my problems than focusing on them, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD: May God take away every problem in your life and yours, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
