We all have habits that we carry about with us that cause us to think that we are living life, while in a real sense we may be in illusion—an erroneous perception of reality. But here is the truth of the matter; the true essence of life is found in Christ Jesus, and it’s only in Him we can say we’re living life (Col 1:16), for through Him and in Him God created the universe (Heb. 1:2). Every other perception apart from this is erroneous.
SCRIPTURE: In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. (John 1:4) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, no matter how far you have gone living in error, stop now, and take the better route of living, which can only be found in Christ Jesus. Nothing can be so benefitting and profiting in life than living a life in Christ Jesus. Yes, and it’s possible. To achieve this, you might want to stop chasing shadows and take a long hard look at the kind of life you live and crave for a change.
So, what is the secret to this life? To know Jesus Christ and proclaim Him as your personal Lord and Savior. However, it’s more than just knowing facts about Him; it is a relationship with Him and a reliance on Him in everyday life. It is seeking after God and finding Him. It is learning to trust in Him with every fiber of our being. Stay Lifted!
