THE PROMISE OF THE MESSIAH (4)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Saturday, 14 December 2024
Focus: The Ruler from Bethlehem
The prophet Micah foretold that the Messiah would come from Bethlehem, a small and humble town. This prophecy reminds us that God often works through the unexpected and the ordinary to accomplish His extraordinary plans. Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem reveals the humility of the Savior and the greatness of God’s redemptive plan. Advent is a time to remember that no detail of God’s promise is overlooked.
Scripture Reading:
Micah 5:2 – “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”
