THE POWER OF CHRIST IN ME: LIVING A TRANSFORMED LIFE (2)
TIMES OF REFRESHING DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SUNDAY, 15 SEPTEMBER 2024
So, the power of Christ in us gives us the strength to live differently. We no longer strive to meet the world’s standards of success, nor do we rely on our own strength to overcome life’s trials. Instead, we live by faith, depending on Christ to lead, sustain, and equip us. When we’re weak, His strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). When we face temptation or challenges, we know that the One who overcame sin and death lives within us, empowering us to stand firm.
SCRIPTURE: “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” — Galatians 2:20 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: This transformation also shapes our identity. Our worth is no longer tied to what we do or how others perceive us but is rooted in Christ. We are God’s children, loved and accepted through Jesus. Because of this, we can approach life with confidence, not in ourselves, but in the One who is greater than anything we face. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Life’s difficulties may seem overwhelming, but Christ’s power in us equips us to face every challenge with courage and hope.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, let’s trust in Christ, for His power is perfected in our weakness, turning our moments of vulnerability into opportunities for His glory to be revealed.
PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You today, humbled by the truth that Christ lives in me. I surrender myself to You, asking that You continue to transform me from the inside out. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
PROPHETIC WORD: May God give you the strength to live differently, not by your own efforts, but by the power of Christ working in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
BIBLE TEXTS: Galatians 2:20, 2 Cor. 12:9
