Beloved, the best thing you can do for yourself, for your family, for your friends is to be good to you, be kind to you, be merciful to you, be forgiving to you, and be loving to you. This is the true secret to a happy and a joyful living. Don’t hate yourself, don’t fight yourself, don’t be against yourself. The truth is, you have enough people and circumstances against you, so don’t be against yourself. Don’t let what people do, say or think about you, make you hate yourself.

SCRIPTURE: For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, (Ephesians 5:29 ESV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: You are the best gift to yourself. Though you might have made mistakes in the past, but nothing is wrong with you. If God has spared you, why would you kill yourself? Yes, the people mock you, but God has helped you, why must you keep on criticizing yourself? There’s a lot more right with you than there is wrong. Instead of focusing on what’s wrong with you start focusing on what’s right with you. So, compliment yourself, admire yourself and start being good to yourself—that’s not being selfish, that’s not arrogant, that’s loving yourself. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: How you see yourself determines how others would see you. So, begin to see the good in yourself.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, go to God in prayer, ask Him to help your life, and cause you to see the good in you.

PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. Cause me to see the good in me, and never to hate myself again, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: May God help you and cause you to love yourself and see the good in you, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
