So, when we talk about the lifestyle that works, we mean the kind of life we live that makes the difference. The life that separates us and sets us apart for greater exploits. A brilliant life that produces excellent results. Yet one of such lifestyles is, getting to know more of God. You see, when we get to know God—really know Him—it fills us with hope and confidence because we realize He’s greater than any situation we will ever encounter. This kind of lifestyle begins with what apostle Paul says in Phil 3:10,

SCRIPTURE: I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, (Phil 3:10 NIV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Getting to know more of God ushers us a fresh breath of matchless love and transformation, and releases new hope and confidence in our lives. So, beloved, I encourage you to get to know God more and more. Read and study His Word. Talk to the Lord like He’s your best friend and ask Him to reveal His love and character to you in a greater way. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: Understanding God’s character and incredible love for us allows us to relax and trust Him in every area of our lives.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, learn to know more of Christ, understand the power of His resurrection and seek to be like Him.

PRAYER: O LORD, I want to know You more, know the power of Your resurrection and be more like you, in Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: As you desire to know more of God, may the Lord cause His Face to shine upon you, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
