So much of what we do every single day is the result of lifestyles that we have formed over time. And when it comes to establishing healthy, new patterns in our lives, I’ve found that spending time with God and acknowledging Him in all our ways is one of the most important and rewarding lifestyles we can ever develop. Any wonder the Bible says in Proverbs 3:6,

SCRIPTURE: In all your ways submit to God, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:6 NIV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, I can tell you most sincerely that God’s help and presence in our lives is vital. God is the Author of all true success and everything that is good—without Him, we can do or achieve nothing of true value. So, spending time with God through prayer and His Word is a prerequisite for having a great life and fulfilling your purpose. However, it’s true that we can improve ourselves through discipline and even have some success, but it will only bring us so far. The truth is that nothing can really take the place of having a healthy relationship with God—the lifestyle that works. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: Spending time with God and acknowledging Him in all our ways is one of the most important and rewarding lifestyles we can ever develop.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, consciously seek to have a daily healthy relationship with God.

PRAYER: O LORD, draw me closer to You, and cause me to remain in You, in Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: As you continue to remain in God, may the Lord be your present help in times of troubles, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
