So, again, beloved, another irrefutable key to living a great life in Christ Jesus is by growing and becoming more like God. Cultivating and developing His character in our lives. But how then do we do that? It all begins by spending regular time with God and renewing our mind His Word. Recall the Bible says in Hebrews 4:12,
SCRIPTURE: For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. (Hebrew 4:12 NLT)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, when we spend time in God’s Word, we are spending time with God, and also becoming more like Him. God’s Word changes us and makes us like God. It changes how we think and how we act. It changes how we see God, how we see ourselves and the world around us. And more importantly, it reveals to us wonderful insights and perceptions to living an extraordinary life in Christ Jesus (Psalm 25:14). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: God has a good and acceptable and perfect plan for our lives, but we must renew our minds with God’s Word before we can experience it!
RESPONSIBILITY: So, we should always make deservedly efforts to renewing our minds with God’s Word, while we aspire to be like God.
PRAYER: O Lord, cause me to be more like You, even as You renew my mind through Your Word, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you renew your mind with God’s Word, may you begin to live a great life in Christ Jesus, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
