In the expansive season of Christmas, amid the carols and the festive decorations, there lies a gift more precious than any adorned package beneath the tree—the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. So, beloved, as we unwrap the layers of tinsel and ribbons, let us contemplate the profound truth that God has given us the ultimate gift, one that transcends the boundaries of time.
SCRIPTURE: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” — Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The beauty of salvation lies not in our merit or accomplishments but in the unmerited favor of God. It is a gift freely given, not earned through our efforts or achievements. Therefore, in this Christmas season, let us reflect on this matter, and marvel at the magnitude of this divine present—salvation. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Every other gift at Christmas is beautiful and ends with the season, but the gift of salvation is the ultimate and eternal. It transcends the boundaries of time and space.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, let us acknowledge the transformative power of the gift of salvation, even as we share the gift with others.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the incomparable gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. As we celebrate His birth, may the reality of this gift transform our lives and overflow in gratitude and joy, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As we embrace this gift, may we experience the joy of salvation in every aspect of our lives, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
