Focus: Contending for Revival – Warfare in the Spirit
Message:
Revival doesn’t come by accident—it comes through hunger, sacrifice, and prayer. Every move of God in history was birthed by men and women who refused to settle for a lukewarm existence. This devotional series will ignite a hunger for revival in your life and stir you to cry out for God to move in your generation.
Key Verse:
📖 Habakkuk 3:2 – “Lord, I have heard of your fame… Renew them in our day!”
Revival does not come without resistance. Every time God wants to move, the enemy fights back. Satan fears a praying, burning believer! That is why spiritual warfare is essential—revival must be contended for in the spirit. Daniel prayed and fasted for 21 days, and angelic warfare took place before his answer came (Daniel 10:12-13). Elijah had to battle the prophets of Baal before fire fell (1 Kings 18:36-38). Jesus fasted 40 days and overcame demonic temptations before stepping into His public ministry (Matthew 4:1-11).

📖 Ephesians 6:12 – “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
Refreshing for the Day:
Revival is not just about longing for more of God—it is about fighting for His Kingdom to be established! The enemy will not surrender easily, but you have the power to enforce God’s will through prayer and intercession! Strongholds must be broken before revival can come. Every move of God in history was met with opposition—but those who contended in prayer saw breakthrough. So, beloved, are you willing to fight in the spirit for revival? Will you intercede until heaven invades the earth? Stay Refreshed!
Note This:
If you are passive in the spirit, the enemy will take ground. Revival belongs to those who fight for it!
Responsibility:
- Spend at least 15 minutes in warfare prayer today—pray in tongues, declare God’s promises, and tear down strongholds.
- Find one stronghold in your life, city, or church and begin praying specifically for breakthrough.
- Declare aloud: “I will not stop praying until revival comes!”
Prayer:
Lord, give me the strength to contend for revival! Let me not grow weary in spiritual warfare. I take authority over every opposition and declare that revival is coming! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Prophetic Declaration:
I declare that I am a warrior for revival! I stand in prayer, break strongholds, and enforce the will of God! Revival will not be delayed—it is coming NOW! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
