SURRENDERING TO GOD’S DIVINE PLAN (5)

Again, surrendering to God’s plan requires trusting in God’s wisdom even when the picture is not clear, and we cannot see the full scope of His plan. It is a total dependence on God and leap of faith into the arms of God, who knows the way. Reflect on the life of Mary, the mother of Jesus. In Luke 1:38, Mary responds to the angel’s announcement with profound surrender, saying,
SCRIPTURE: “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” – Luke 1:38 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, Mary’s surrender paved the way for the unfolding of God’s redemptive plan through the birth of Jesus. Her willingness to yield to God’s extraordinary plan resulted in the salvation of humanity. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: God’s plan may take unexpected route. Surrender allows us to view those routes not as disruptions but as divine opportunities for God to perfect His greater purpose.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, let us ask God for the grace for a complete surrender to Him in our ways.
PRAYER: Oh, dear God, thank You for Your steadfast love. Please, help our lives and give us the grace to always surrender completely to Your divine plan for us, even when we cannot see the full picture. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: And as we surrender to God and become the reason God’s purpose is fulfilled on earth, may it resonates joy in our hearts, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
