Continuously, beloved, as we surrender, we open ourselves to divine guidance. God promises to make our paths straight when we submit to Him (Proverbs 3:5-6). This does not mean a life free from challenges, but it does mean a life guided by God’s unwavering love and wisdom. It is not the absence of difficulties and trials but the assurance that God is in control despite the difficulties and trials. So, our role is to trust, obey, and follow, one step at a time, knowing that God’s plan is far greater than anything we could dream for ourselves.
SCRIPTURE: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” — Isaiah 55:8-9 (ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Surrender is the process of pruning for growth. Just as a gardener prunes a plant for better fruitfulness, surrender allows God to prune and refine us for a more abundant and purposeful life. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Surrendering to God’s plan is a collaborative journey. It is partnering with God in the adventure of becoming who He has destined us to be.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, dearly beloved, in all circumstances, let us learn to always trust in God and surrender to His divine plans in our lives.
PRAYER: Oh, dear God, thank You for Your faithfulness. You have been so faithful, even when we are not. Please, give us the grace to partner with You until we become whom You have destined us to be. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: And as we collaborate with God and surrender to Him, may He prune and refine us for a better fruitfulness, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
