So, beloved, “Surely, I am with you always”, is not just a statement but a promise. This promise offers divine assurance that God is involved in every aspect of our lives, providing a foundation of unwavering support. Therefore, reflecting on this promise, we can draw several key insights: Firstly, God’s presence, guidance and wisdom in our lives; secondly, comfort in times of trouble, and thirdly, empowerment for service. God’s presence brings with it His guidance and wisdom. In moments of decision-making and uncertainty, we can seek His counsel, trusting that He will lead us on the right path (Proverbs 3:5-6).

SCRIPTURE: “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” — Matthew 28:20

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Life is filled with challenges and trials. During such times, the promise of God’s presence becomes a source of immense comfort. Psalm 23:4 beautifully echoes this sentiment: “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.” Knowing that God is with us helps us to face difficulties with courage and hope. And Just as the disciples were empowered by Jesus’ promise to fulfill the Great Commission, we too are empowered to serve and live out our faith. God equips us with the strength, courage, and resources we need to fulfill our unique callings and to be a light in the world. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: The promise, “to the very end of the age,” assures us of God’s eternal presence. This is not a temporary commitment; it is an eternal truth. Our relationship with God transcends time and continues into eternity.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, this eternal perspective provides us with hope and assurance, knowing that nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39).

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we ask for Your divine assurance to be felt deeply in our hearts, especially when we face life’s uncertainties and challenges. Help us to remember that Your promise is not just words, but a steadfast commitment that anchors us in Your love and grace. When we are weak, be our strength. When we are broken, be our healer, and when we are lost, be our guide. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

PROPHETIC WORD: May we be reminded daily of God’s unwavering presence, and let His promise be a light that dispels the darkness of doubt and despair Iin our lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
