STOP WEARING YOURSELF OUT

Beloved, have you ever felt like giving up because you were stressed out and overwhelmed by circumstances you couldn’t control? The truth is the enemy wants us to spend our days bittered and frustrated, but God will always have a way to deliver us. Look with me at 2 Cor 4:8. Here, the apostle says,
SCRIPTURE: We are pressured in every way [hedged in], but not crushed; perplexed [unsure of finding a way out], but not driven to despair; (2 Cor 4:8 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Looking at this verse, it’s interesting to note that Paul says they couldn’t find a way out, but he didn’t say there was no way out. Sometimes, when pressures mount and life gets hard, we’re wearied and scared to the marrow, and it can feel like there’s no way. But it’s time we stop wearing ourselves out trying to figure things out on our own! And begin to trust that God will bring us through, because He is our Way when there seems to be no way (Jn 14:6). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: When we’re so wearied and can’t find a way out of our problems, we can put our hope in Jesus, who has promised us that He is the Way.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, stop wearing yourself out and put your hope in Christ Jesus.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to always put my hope in You, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you trust in the Lord and put your hope in Him, may you never put to shame, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
