So, beloved, to stand firm in the storms requires an unshakable faith grounded in the understanding that our God is greater than any tempest we encounter. It is a faith that doesn’t deny the existence of storms but believes in a God who can calm them. It’s a faith that acknowledges the reality of troubles but trusts in a God who is our refuge and strength.
SCRIPTURE: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth gives way, and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.” — Psalm 46:1-3 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: When the storms of life threaten to overwhelm us, we must anchor ourselves in the promises of God. He is not a distant observer but an ever-present help. In the midst of chaos, His voice speaks peace, and His hand provides comfort. Our faith is not in our ability to navigate the storm but in His power to carry us through. Stay Refreshed!

RESPONSIBILITY: So dearly beloved, let us ask God the grace to stand so firm, even in the midst of storms and difficulties.
PRAYER: Gracious God, You are our refuge and strength. When the winds of uncertainty blow and the waves of adversity crash around us, help us stand firm, trusting in Your unwavering presence. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen!
