SOARING ON EAGLES’ WINGS (3)

TIMES OF REFRESHING DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: WEDNESDAY, 10 JULY 2024

Again, the concept of soaring on eagles’ wings teaches us to rise above challenges. Eagles soar above storms, using the wind currents to lift them higher. Similarly, we can rise above our problems by relying on God’s strength and perspective. It teaches us

trust in trials. So, beloved, when facing difficulties, consciously choose to trust God instead of succumbing to worry or fear. Remember past instances where God has provided and guided you through tough times.

SCRIPTURE: “The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” — Lamentations 3:25-26 (NIV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Moreso, soaring like an eagle implies a higher, more mature spiritual state. We are called to grow and mature in our faith, reflecting God’s character more fully. We can express this through regular Bible study. An in-depth daily study of the Bible helps to deepen our understanding of God’s word and grow in wisdom and maturity. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: Soaring like an eagle signifies rising to a higher level of spiritual maturity. As we grow in our faith, we become more attuned to God’s voice and more aligned with His will.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, make Bible study a daily habit. Dive deep into it, seeking to understand its context, meaning, and application. Reflect on how it speaks to your life and what changes it prompts you to make.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for calling us to grow and mature in our faith. Help us to soar like eagles, rising to a higher spiritual state where we reflect Your character more fully. Grant us wisdom and understanding as we seek to know You more deeply. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord strengthen us to endure trials with resilience and trusting in His perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

BIBLE TEXTS: Lamentations 3:25-26, Isaiah 40:31
