RESOLUTIONS ALONE ARE NEVER ENOUGH (6)

The point of making great resolutions and see to it until its accomplishment isn’t first and foremost our effort alone, our struggle nor how hard working we are, but by divine providence and the mercy of God. We don’t just involve GOD in all the stages of our resolves, we also cover all our efforts in prayer. In prayer, we commit our plans to God, re-consecrate ourselves, our efforts again and again to pursue our resolves “by the strength that God supplies, in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 4:11).
SCRIPTURE: To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, (2 Thess 1:11) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, we would be so foolish to make new resolutions, exert energy on it with ability without explicitly asking God to make it truly fruitful. And so, we pray “that our God may make us worthy of His calling and may fulfill every of our resolve for good and every work of our faith by His power” (2 Thess 1:11) in Jesus’s name, Amen. RESPONSIBILITY: Ask God for the grace to fervent in prayer. Pray until your resolutions are manifested.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to be fervent and ardent in prayer; even as you manifest my resolutions in this year 2022, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God answer you when you call, and may He manifest your resolutions and plans in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
