Focus: Guarding My Mind
Our minds are constantly under attack from the enemy and the distractions of the world. To walk in purity, we must guard our thoughts vigilantly. The Bible instructs us to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. This means filtering what we allow into our minds and actively rejecting thoughts that do not align with God’s Word. A guarded mind is one that is protected from negativity and sin.
Scripture Reading:
2 Corinthians 10:5 – “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, today, be intentional about guarding your mind. Monitor what you read, watch, and listen to, and replace negative thoughts with Scripture. Reflect at the end of the day on how guarding your mind helped you stay focused on God. Stay refreshed!

A guarded mind is a stronghold of God’s truth, resisting the lies of the enemy.
