Clinging to Christ means surrendering our will to His, trusting in His guidance rather than relying on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). It means seeking His presence daily through prayer, meditating on His Word, and walking in obedience to His commands. It means acknowledging our weakness and allowing His strength to be made perfect in us (2 Corinthians 12:9).
SCRIPTURE: “But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: When we cling to Christ, we find the peace that surpasses all understanding, even in the midst of life’s storms (Philippians 4:7). We discover the hope that anchors our souls, unshaken by the shifting sands of circumstance (Hebrews 6:19). We experience the love that knows no bounds, reaching into the depths of our hearts and filling us with His joy (Romans 8:38-39). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Clinging to Christ is not a one-time decision but a daily, moment-by-moment choice.
RESPONSIBILITY: So dearly beloved, let us run to God in prayers and ask Him for the grace to cling to Christ.
PRAYER: Oh Lord JESUS, help our lives and give us the grace to cling to You. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen!
