PENTECOST PEOPLE: LIVING FILLED, BOLD, AND SENT (6)

Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional

Date: Saturday, 14 June 2025

Topic: Pentecost People: Living Filled, Bold, and Sent (6)

Focus: Living as Flames, Not Flickers

🔥 Message:

Receiving the Holy Spirit is not the end—it’s the beginning. The Upper Room was the launchpad. Now comes the walk, the witness, and the war. This devotional will stir you to live full of the Spirit, bold in your witness, and sent into the world with fire.

📖 Key Verse:

Acts 4:31 – “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”

Devotional Message:

The Holy Spirit didn’t come to spark a moment—He came to ignite a movement. The early church didn’t burn for a day—they lived aflame every day. Many believers have powerful encounters, but fail to sustain the fire. The issue is not God’s willingness to pour out—it’s our willingness to steward. Fire falls where there’s sacrifice. Fire stays where there’s surrender. Fire spreads where there’s consistency.

📖 Scripture Reading:

  • Romans 12:11 – “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.”
  • Leviticus 6:13 – “The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.”

💧 Refreshing for the Day:

Beloved, you were not designed to flicker—you were made to burn. The fire of Pentecost must become your lifestyle, not a yearly memory. God is calling for a people who burn in the secret place and blaze in the public square. So, don’t let your altar grow cold—keep adding fuel daily. Stay Refreshed!

Note This:

It’s not enough to catch the fire—you must keep it burning.

🛡️ Responsibility:

Create a simple rhythm of prayer, word, and worship this week that fuels the flame. Even 15 consistent minutes can shift the atmosphere of your heart.

🙏 Prayer:

Lord, I don’t want to flicker—I want to burn. Help me to steward Your fire with diligence. Let revival not just visit me, but dwell in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

🔥 Prophetic Declaration:

I am not a one-time flame—I am a living fire! I burn with unquenchable passion, sustained by the Spirit, and I will not go out. The fire will burn continuously on my altar! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

📖 Bible Texts:

Acts 2: 1-4; 4:31; Romans 12:11, Leviticus 6:13
