Focus: Making Room for the King
Just as there was no room in the inn for Mary and Joseph, we can sometimes crowd our hearts with so much busyness that there’s little room left for Jesus. Making room for the King means intentionally creating space in our lives to spend time with Him, prioritize His presence, and honor Him as Lord.
Scripture Reading:
Luke 10:41-42 – “‘Martha, Martha,’ the Lord answered, ‘you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.'”
Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, take a step back from the busyness of the day and spend intentional, uninterrupted time with Jesus. Reflect on how prioritizing Him brings clarity and joy to your heart. Stay Refreshed!
Note This:
Making room for Jesus requires intentional choices to prioritize His presence over everything else.
Responsibility:
So, what is taking up space in your heart that belongs to Jesus? How can you create room for Him today?
Prayer:
Lord, I choose to make room for You in my life. Help me to let go of distractions and focus on what truly matters—Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Prophetic Declaration:
I declare that my heart is a spacious place for Jesus. He is my priority, and His presence fills my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
