Yet again, beloved, nurturing the joy of the Lord is fostered and cultivated by surrendering our worries. You see, anxiety and worry can steal our joy. They stand as formidable opponents to the abundant joy that comes from our relationship with God. But as we nurture the joy of the Lord, it’s crucial to cast our worries upon God. Thus, it’s written in 1 Peter 5:7,

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: When we allow anxiety to take hold, it wraps us in chains of fear, preventing the vibrant joy that comes from trusting God’s plans in our lives. Just as a stormy sea disrupts the calm, anxiety and worry create turbulent waves that disrupt the peaceful waters of our heart’s joy.So, when we release our burdens to God and surrender our concerns to Him in prayer, we make room for His joy to fill our hearts.Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: When we surrender our worries to God, it lifts our burden and nurtures the joy of the Lord in lives.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, let us identify worry or concern that has been weighing on our hearts. Spend time in prayer, entrusting it to God and asking Him to replace our anxiety with His joy.
PRAYER: Oh LORD, help our lives. Give us the grace to identify every worry in our lives and replace it with Your joy, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As we seek to nurture the joy of the Lord in our lives, may we surrender every anxiety in our lives to God, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
