MANIFESTING YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST

Too often, people base their identities on what they do (from their careers to their roles in families and relationships), defining themselves by those pursuits. But by doing so, they significantly limit their lives. The truth is that God intends for all people to discover and manifest their true identity in Christ.
A person’s manifestation in life and destiny is a product of his sincere, genuine and continuous living of his life fully in Christ.
SCRIPTURE:
The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever, (1 John 2:17) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
One of the tragic mistakes a person would make is trying to find his identity in things or people, aside Christ.
Our identity is found in Christ, and one cannot manifest the identity he has not found. Finding your identity in Christ is one thing, but manifesting it and understanding how that practically changes the way you live is another.
Here are few thoughts to note on ways that manifesting our true identity in Christ can greatly impact the way we live our lives.
1. Your identity encompasses all the abundance of being a beloved child of God living your life fully and completely in Christ.
2. In Christ we find lasting fulfilment. We don’t find lasting fulfilment in our lives; we will never find it in our jobs nor people. It can only be found in Christ.
Beloved, we are created to reflect the image of God, in Christ Jesus. When we seek our identity in other things outside Christ, struggle become evident. So, we must continue to make conscious effort to seek and manifest our identity in Christ. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS:

Make conscious effort to continually seek your identity in Christ.
PRAYER:
O LORD JESUS, give me the grace to find and manifest my identity in You, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
As you seek your identity in Christ today, may He bless you and honor you and yours, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
