REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, there are certain natural forces militating against the plans of God in a man’s life. Any wonder many purposes are left unfulfilled, but it takes a ready mind to overcome it. It takes a mind that never accepts no as an answer. There has to be a holy determination.
In Ruth 1:16, Ruth was almost talked into relinquishing her position in life, but she was so strong willed, she demonstrated a ready mind, she stood her ground, and the rest was a story. Yours can always be so too. So, as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus today, let us make up our mind that in everything we do, the life of Christ will reign supreme in us. Merry Christmas!
