TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: MONDAY, 19 FEBRUARY 2024
Additionally, using our resources to further God’s kingdom entails sacrificial giving and generosity. It’s about recognizing that all we have belongs to God and being willing to use our financial resources to support ministries, missions, and initiatives that are advancing God’s kingdom purposes. It’s about being mindful of how we spend, save, and invest our money, ensuring that it aligns with God’s heart for justice, mercy, and compassion.
SCRIPTURE: “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” — Colossians 3:1-2 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Living with purpose also involves using our talents and abilities to serve others and share the love of Christ. Whether it’s through serving in our local church, volunteering in our community, or using our professional skills for Kingdom purposes, we are called to be faithful stewards of the gifts God has entrusted to us. As we prioritize advancing God’s kingdom, we can trust that He will provide for our needs and bless our efforts abundantly. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Ultimately, living with purpose is about seeking first the kingdom of God in all that we do. It’s about orienting our lives around God’s purposes and surrendering our will to His leading.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, let us, therefore, commit ourselves to living with purpose, using our time, talents, and resources to further God’s kingdom and bring glory to His name.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for entrusting with us time, talents, and resources. Give us the grace and the enablement to steward these gifts with purpose and use them to advance Your kingdom in this world. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: And as we prioritize advancing God’s kingdom, may He provide for our needs and bless our efforts abundantly. In the name of Jesus’ Amen!
