So, having carefully seen the paybacks of life in Christ, now let us look at how to establish the habit of living for Christ. The key to having and living Christ’s abundant life is earnestly seeking to be habitual and consistent in walking with Him and living for Him.
SCRIPTURE: “… Walk [habitually] before Me [with integrity, knowing that you are always in My presence], and be blameless and complete [in obedience to Me].” (Gen 17:1 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, notice from our anchor Scripture that God instructed Abraham to be habitual in walking with Him and living for Him. Yes, we can do this by establishing daily habits of prayer, worship and regular, consistent time spent in His Word. Again, we must make it our goal to have a deep, intimate relationship with God. Let Him into every area of our life. Finally, we live to please God, (1 Thess 2:4). For as we live to please God, He promises to bless our lives and make us prosper. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: When you decide to live for Christ, and serve God with your whole heart, your soul will prosper, and your joy and peace will increase.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, consistently make efforts to walk with God, and life for Him all the days of your life.
PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. Give me the grace to walk habitually walk with You, even as I live for You, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you habitually walk with God, and live for Him, may He bless you and prosper you, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
