LIFE IN CHRIST IS YOUR SURE PLUG (2)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: TUESDAY, 15 MARCH 2022
Beloved, I tell you the truth again, no matter how you may want to see it, nothing in life will ever make sense to you, until your life begins to matter in Christ. This is the sure truth of life (Jn 8:32). It is only in Christ that we discover our source, our identity, our meaning, our purpose, our significance, and our destiny. Every other way is counterfeit, and yet null and void (John 14:6).
SCRIPTURE: It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for . . . part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone. (Eph 1:11-12) MSG
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: We are consumed with too many things, but forget the most important thing in life (Mt 6:33). We could do all things to succeed, go all the way to make wealth, but we have jettisoned and abandoned the only thing that matters so much to us – Life in Christ. Hear this, life is not all about you; it’s all about God. Any wonder Paul said to the people of Colossus, “For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible. . . everything got started in Him and finds its purpose in Him.” Colossians 1:16 (MSG). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: You were made by God and for God in Christ Jesus (Eph 2:10). This is true, and until you begin to understand this fact life will never make sense to you.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, in all your seeking, make life in Christ your top-notch priority.
PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. Give me the grace for perpetual hunger for You in my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you seek Christ in your life, may you find Him, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Eph 1:11-12; 2:10, Col 1:16
