LETTING GO AND MOVING FORWARD (2)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Sunday, 12 January 2025
Focus: Pressing Forward in Faith
Message: The new year is a time to let go of the past and press forward into God’s promises.
The Christian life is a journey of forward momentum. Paul’s words in Philippians 3:13-14 encourage us to “strain toward what is ahead.” This imagery of straining implies effort, focus, and determination. Moving forward in faith is not always easy—it requires us to fix our eyes on Jesus and trust Him to lead us through every season.
Pressing forward means pursuing God’s promises with intentionality. It’s about aligning your priorities with His purposes, even when the way seems unclear. It’s about persevering through challenges, knowing that God is faithful to fulfill His Word. As you step into the new year, commit to running your race with endurance, keeping your focus on the ultimate prize: a closer walk with Christ and the fulfillment of His calling in your life.
