Beloved, Jesus is our source of hope and our anchor in the storm. So, by keeping our eyes on Him, we are reminded that we are not alone and that He is with us every step of the way. Jesus’ life on earth provides a perfect example of unwavering focus. Despite the many distractions and temptations He faced, Jesus remained steadfast in His mission to fulfill the Father’s will. He spent time in prayer, sought solitude to connect with God, and was intentional in His actions and words.

SCRIPTURE: “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” — Hebrews 12:2 (NIV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: To keep our focus on Jesus, we must identify and overcome the distractions that pull us away from Him. This might mean setting aside specific times for prayer and Bible study, turning off our devices to spend uninterrupted time with God, or finding a community of believers who can encourage and support us in our faith journey. By creating space for God in our daily lives, we make it easier to keep our eyes fixed on Him. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: When we keep our focus on Jesus, we receive the strength and the grace to overcome every difficulty and challenges that may arise in our lives. Just like Jesus, by keeping His focus on His divine purpose, He was able to endure the cross and complete His mission of salvation.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, as you go about your day, remember to take moments to redirect your focus to Jesus. Whether through a simple prayer, reading a passage of Scripture, or reflecting on His goodness, let Jesus be the center of your thoughts and actions.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, help us to keep our eyes fixed on You. In a world full of distractions, give us the discipline and desire to seek You above all else. Remind us of Your love and sacrifice and help us to follow Your example of steadfast focus on God’s will. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

PROPHETIC WORD: As we keep our focus on Jesus, may we find peace and strength in His presence, and may our lives reflect His glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
