Beloved, I want to share with you today about “God is everything you need to be.” There’s nothing better and greater than God. He’s so amazing. Whatever good, great and beautiful we want to be in life, Jesus would be that to us. Jesus has the power of God. And His power has given us everything we need to live a life devoted and pleasing to God (2 Peter 1:3). Many great men and women of God throughout the Bible understood this reality and walked on it. Many made it their mission to know God. The apostle Paul in Phil 3:10, desired to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead… and it became his fate. David in Psalm 27 declared that his heart desire was to seek God and behold the wonders of His beauty.
SCRIPTURE: Our God gives you everything you need, makes you everything you’re to be. (2 Thess. 1:2 MSG)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: But, beloved, there’s one truth about this reality you must want to know. Jesus would never be everything to everyone (John 10:14). Jesus can only be everything to those who know Him (Matt. 10:33). And those who know their God shall be strong and they shall do exploit (Dan 11:32). So, if you want Jesus to be everything you want to be in life and even more, sincerely seek to know Him in your life. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Jesus can only be everything to those who know Him and obey and keep His commandments (Matt. 10:33).
RESPONSIBILITY: So, dearly beloved, seek to know Jesus in your life, obey Him and keep His commandments.
PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to seek to know You more in my life, and cause me to obey and keep Your instructions, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you seek to know Jesus today and obey His commandments, may you find Him in your life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
