GOD’S PROMISES NEVER FAIL
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

The rate and rapidity at which we get talked out of God’s promises in our lives is disheartening. Whatever God has said concerning your life shall always come to pass. No human thought could suggest a better option to replace the promises of God. Even the enemy can’t stop it.
I don’t know what God told you; is it a promotion, a life partner, fruit of the womb, it may be taken longer than you thought, it may be more difficult, but the good news is: God’s promises never fail.
SCRIPTURE: For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so, through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 1:20) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Every of God’s Word and His promises in a person’s life finds it’s YES in Christ.
In Genesis 15, God told Abraham, he was going to have a son. Abraham was 75 years old; his wife Sarah was 65, they’d never had children. Sarah had been barren all these years. Year after year went by with no sign of a baby. Every thought told them it’s been too long, you’re wasting your time, you’re both too old, it’s never going to happen.
Finally, Sarah said to Abraham to sleep with her maid, that way they could have a baby. She was so impatient to wait on God’s Word. She thought that’s the only way it would happen. She watered down God’s promise and reduced it to what she thought would happen.
Beloved, many times, we do like Sarah: when God speaks something to us, instead of coming up to His level, believing for the extraordinary, we bring it down to our level. But today, we’re encouraged to always wait for God’s promise for it shall never fail. Stay Blessed!
NOTE THIS: Every of God’s Word and His promises in a person’s life finds it’s YES in Christ.
RESPONSIBILITY: Wait patiently on God’s promises, for in His time, it shall always come to pass.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to wait patiently on Your promises, and cause me not to expire in my waiting, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you wait on the LORD, may He bless and establish you and yours, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
