GOD LOVES YOU AND ACCEPTS YOU
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: MONDAY, 13 MARCH 2023
TOPIC: GOD LOVES YOU AND ACCEPTS YOU
Beloved, I want to share with you today about “God loves you and accepts you”. A lot of people think God doesn’t love them may be because they’re not measuring up to a certain style or way of living. They think God can’t love and accept them until every area of their life is perfected. But the truth of the matter is, God is looking for a perfect heart and not a perfect performance or way of living. God doesn’t love based on merit or excellence; His love is perfect and unconditional (John 3:16). He has loved and cared for you even before you were formed in your mother’s womb (Jer 1:5).
SCRIPTURE: God loves you and has chosen you as his own special people… (Colossians 3:12 CEV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, God loves you and accepts you because He decided to, not because of what you do or don’t do. This doesn’t mean that you should have a loose attitude and not desire to live a holy life. But it’s a way of encouraging you not to feel rejected and think God doesn’t love you. God loves you and accepts you. He said in Jeremiah 31:3, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: God doesn’t love based on merit or excellence; His love is perfect and unconditional.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, God won’t reject you because of your weakness or mistake, but then always desire to please God in all things.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, thank You for loving and accepting me. Cause me to always please you and do Your will in all things, in Jesus’s name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you continue to please God in all things, may the Lord bless you and never forsake you in life, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
BIBLE TEXTS: Col 3:12, Jer 1:5; 31:3, Jn 3:16
