FROM ZERO TO HERO BY THE GRACE

TIMES OF REFRESHING

ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL by Obiorah Prince Emeka

DATE: SATURDAY 14 NOVEMBER 2020

Insight from the scripture demonstrates the fact that, the grace of God is capable of lifting a person from zero to hero, (1 Sam. 16:13, Gen. 41, Esther 6:10-11). Zero means a place of nothing. It means rejection and great difficulty. It is a place of shame and disgrace. Grace is favour. It is the power, ability and unmerited help that God gives to His people.

In Mark 10:46, Grace visited blind Bartimaeus and turned his blindness into a miracle. Grace is the only thing that can lift a person out of nothing to something. Beloved, that same God that showed mercy on David, and lifted him from zero to hero in 1 Samuel 16:13, will remember you for good in Jesus’ name.

SCRIPTURE:

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work, (2 Corinthians 9:8) ESV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

The presence of grace in a person’s life ends disgrace, and terminates humiliation.

Grace brings out a man from dungeon and establishes him. Rejection is the birthplace of grace and distinction. People rejected by men are often celebrated by God, (Psalm 118:22). Great destinies are often raised out of rejection; out of nothing.

Few thoughts to note about grace;

i.             Grace attracts divine favour, divine protection, divine connection, (2 Samuel 1:1-9).

ii.            Grace singled out a lame beggar for a miracle, (Acts 3:2-10).

iii.          Grace turns rejection to distinction, (Genesis 41).

iv.          Grace offers ultimate salvation, breakthrough, manifestations, and all-round testimonies, (Titus 2:11).

Beloved, God is taking you from zero to hero. Circumstances of life may hide you that nobody will want to identify with you, but the grace of God will expose and connect you to your destiny helpers. Do not let rejection push you to desperation.

Hear this, those who use your problem to describe you shall begin to use your testimonies to describe you in Jesus’ mighty name. Stay Lifted.

The presence of grace in a person’s life ends disgrace, and terminates humiliation
