So, beloved, every setback is a setup for a comeback. However, here are some key insights to help us embrace this truth in our lives. First, God is supreme and sovereign. We acknowledge that God is in control of every situation. Nothing happens in our lives without His knowledge and permission. He can use even the most difficult setbacks for His ultimate purpose. That’s why the Bible says in Psalm 24:1,

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Furthermore, when we acknowledge God’s sovereignty, we ought to trust and have faith in His perfect plan for our lives. And what may seem like a setback now could be God’s way of redirecting us toward something greater, something that aligns with His purpose for us. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: While we may see a setback as a defeat, God sees it as an opportunity for a comeback that will ultimately bring glory to His name.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, in our challenges, let us hold fast to our faith, knowing that God is orchestrating a comeback story that will reveal His faithfulness and goodness in our lives.

PRAYER: Oh GOD, give us the grace that even in our most challenging and difficult moments to acknowledge your sovereignty and hold fast to our faith in You, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

PROPHETIC WORD: As we trust in God and hold fast to our faith in Him, may every setback in our lives give way to God’s unusual victories, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
