EMBRACING SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION (5)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: FRIDAY, 4 AUGUST 2023
So, beloved, one other sure thing we must do to embrace spiritual transformation is to “take small steps of faith.” Taking small steps of faith in spiritual transformation is not about perfection but about progress. It’s about being intentional in seeking God’s presence in our daily lives. Each small step may seem insignificant on its own, but collectively, they pave the way for significant growth and change. Any wonder Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew 17:20,
Bottom of FormSCRIPTURE: …’’Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Taking small steps of faith involves building consistency in our spiritual practices. It may include spending a few minutes in prayer each morning, reading a verse from the Bible before bed, or attending a weekly fellowship. But however it is, consistency helps us stay connected to God and fosters a deeper relationship with Him.Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Spiritual transformation doesn’t happen overnight; it’s a step-by-step process. We grow spiritually by taking small steps of faith each day.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, let’s be intentional about this matter and embrace taking small steps of faith.
PRAYER: O GOD, thank You for Your Word through these teachings. I pray that you give me the grace to take small steps of faith even as I continue in the journey to spiritual transformation in my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As we employ all the basic steps explored in the series, may we embrace spiritual transformation in our lives, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Matthew 17:20
