EMBRACING SALVATION: A NEW LIFE IN CHRIST (4)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: MONDAY, 17 JULY 2023
Salvation isn’t just a one-time event; it’s the beginning of a lifelong journey. As we walk with Jesus, we discover that He is not only our Savior but also our guide, companion, and source of strength. Through prayer, studying the Bible, and fellowship with other believers, we deepen our relationship with God, growing in love and understanding.
SCRIPTURE: Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin], (Colossians 2:6 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Salvation brings hope. It assures us that our lives have purpose and meaning beyond our present circumstances. No matter what challenges we face, we can find comfort in knowing that God is with us and that He is working all things together for our good. So, beloved, let us cherish the gift of salvation and share it with others. Just as we were rescued from the pit, we have the privilege of extending that same hope to those around us. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Embracing salvation is walking with Jesus. As we walk with Jesus, we discover that He is not only our Savior but also our guide, companion, and source of strength.
RESPONSIBILITY: Through our words and actions, we can reflect God’s love, pointing others toward the Savior who offers them the gift of salvation.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help us to grasp the depth of Your love and the hope that comes with salvation, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you embrace salvation, may your life and character be a testament to others of the incredible love of God, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Colossians 2:6
