One other important pointer that would help us to overcome difficulty and keeps us at bay to sustaining our faith in God is by ‘saying what God says.’ Saying what God says in times of difficulty is invoking the power, plan and thought of God in our lives. It is the reassurance of God’s ever presence and help through the Word of God. Thus, this act will always keep us from giving in to the temptations of the enemy.
SCRIPTURE: For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrew 4:12 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Now let us establish and make this clear; the world, and everything in it is a product of the Word, the Word of God. So, in that relationship order, there is an element or component of every product at the place of the producer, and a such the solution to the product is found and remains in the confines of the producer. So, when we are saying what God says, we are simply by the authority of the producer, reaffirming and aligning the place and position of the product. Recall that when Jesus was weak after fasting for 40 days and Satan was tempting Him in the desert, He fought the enemy’s lies by responding over and over saying, “It is written…” (Matt 4:1-11).
So, beloved, whatever your challenge is, I counsel you, seek for the solution in the Word of God. There’s a verse that will encourage and strengthen you as you’re going through it; say it and invoke it over your challenges. God’s Word is alive, active and full of power (Hebrews 4:12). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Just as every product has a place in the corridors and boundaries of the producer, so, is the solution to whatever problem a person is facing in life found in the confines of the Word of God.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, do not be afraid over your worries and challenges, but learn to find solace and solutions from the Word of God.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to speak your Word in times of trouble, and cause me to never grow cold in my faith in You, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you learn to say what God says, may you find help in your times of trouble, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
